The apartment enjoys stunning mountain views and is well placed in a quiet, but convenient location. Extremely well appointed, the owners have taken great care to ensure that visitors experience a high level of comfort during their stay. The apartment has private, secure parking.

The village of Crest-Voland and the smaller village of Cernix are located at 1250m, with plenty of excellent ski runs, which form part of the Espace Diamant. In the winter the area is a busy ski resort, whilst in summer it offers a wonderful base from which to explore the French Alps. The village has a range of shops which include a fantastic butchers, bakery / patisserie, supermarket and sports shops. There is also a wide range of restaurants, many of which offer local specialties such as fondue.

Development has taken place with great care, so that buildings are limited in height and retain traditional character. There are many typical Alpine chalets in the area, with pretty villages and mountain pastures interspersed with dense forests which can be explored on ski in winter or on foot or by mountain bike in summer. The more adventurous might prefer to try via ferrata or even a balloon flight over the Alps.

Near to Crest-Voland and Cernix there are a wide range of places to explore, such as the pretty village of Notre Dame de Bellacombe. The area is famed for its Beaufortain cheese, which is produced locally and sold from farms and in the markets. Nearby Megeve is an exclusive resort which has an ice skating rink together with a wide range of restaurants and cafes. The mountaineering centre of Chamonix is a popular excursion and the Mont Blanc Tunnel makes Italy an easy excursion. Best of all are the stunning mountains which offer endless breathtaking views towards ranges such as the Aravis and the Mount Blanc massif.
